I was stretching last night, my muscles were warm.. I'm very flexible.. but I was stretching (doing the splits) and I heard and felt a snap/pop sound in my right glute. What's that mean? If I lay on my stomach I cannot lift my right leg. Does this require surgery? Please help. I'm extremely active.. I train about 16 hrs a week... this is so depressing.
