how are people getting on with reg with the new national board?

Just having a look through the posts and seems like there have not been many recent updates from people with regard to registration with the new Aussie board. So how are you all getting on? There have been a lot of people asking questions over the last few years just wondered how sucessful we have all been in gaining registration?
i am at the stage of 'jumping across the ditch' have been in NZ for six months at the moment and intend to stay for another six months. My job has been a bit hit and miss here in NZ so fancy trying Aussie for a bit and then see where suits us best. I have applied to the Australian Board via the TTMR this week and am still not sure about all the ins and outs of it. Does anyone know yet what the situation is with working in WA? Do you still need to apply to the WA board or is national registration sufficient? Since I'm not sure where we might end up its nice to keep the options opened. Visas are another kettle of fish completely!
