Working for a year in australia

Hi,

Myself and my partner are both Physio's both with over 5 years experience. We are looking in to working out in australia for a year and are hoping to head out there next summer, preferably Sydney but would also be keen to try melbourne and brisbane. We have looked in to visas and think a working holiday visa is the best option for us but are a little unsure of the best way to go about registration?

We are not keen to do the exams as we are both specialised in MSK therefore don't think we would manage the neuro and respiratory parts. We are considering either the New Zealand Portfolio which we think may be a good option if we want to extend our visa for another year or is there a way you can register with the state you want to work in and this then entitles you to work for 6 months with one employee? With the potential then to move to a different employer for another 6 months?

On top of this do you also need your yearly registration which is similar to our HPC in the Uk?

Any help or advice would be greatly appreciated as we are not 100% sure which route to take
