Severe sciatica - L4/L5 and L5/S1 disc bulge

Hi I am wondering if I can get some ideas regarding sciatica problems I am having. I have a kinda in depth history to explain and I have CT scans and an MRI that show compression on the nerve, but some things just don't add up. I am a group fitness instructor and used to be a personal trainer, so I have some basic understanding of anatomy, but all doctors throw at me are drugs and referrals to spend more money.

I'm not convinced I'm ready to try the route of a cortizone epidural yet which is where they want to send me, but I can't survive at the moment on painkillers and being off work.

I found this forum via a search which took me to a thread from a couple of years ago, where there was some interesting technical discussions helping a guy with sciatica. I don't want to launch into my history just yet though before I am sure my post is welcome.

Is there anyone willing to help me with my symptoms and understanding what's going on with me?
