Walking Again

Hi,

I have this friend who stopped doing his physiotherapy because he was too depressed to do anything. He had a car crash which injured his legs but also killed his mother and his father lost his job.
He hasn't gone back to his physiotherapy program for a year now and is still confined to a wheelchair.
Is it possible that he could walk again if he starts physiotherapy now or in the next 2 years?

Thanks for your post. Unfortunately we have no idea of this individuals medical history or current physical issues. This means we cannot add any useful comment on that front. I do feel that perhaps some form of counseling (continued or otherwise) may be an important factor/first step towards progress. The individual needs to want to do the rehab. Pushing them is not the answer.
