Stroke Rehabiliaion Resources
Hello,
I'm a physiotherapy applicant and as part of my application I decided to complete an extended project on the role/importance of physiotherapy in stroke rehabilitation. Do any of you by any chance have any resources I could use? Things like a collection of exercises that I can use as visual aids in my presentation about it, or any particularly good studies/statistics?
Thanks in advance for an help!

Read extensively on the topic from peer reviewed journals
Re: Stroke Rehabiliaion Resources
Hi,
what kind of applicant are you? Are you applying for a job as a Physio or for a place at uni?
If you google "Stroke", you will find numerous stroke associations/ foundations and information about Stroke.
If you search for stroke and physiotherapy, there is lots of information about your topic. E.g.:
Physiotherapy for strokes
Physiotherapy Practice Guidelines for Stroke Rehabilitation
National Stroke Foundation - Australia [search: physiotherapy guidelines]
Management of Adult Stroke Rehabilitation Care
For Journal articles check PEDRO or use MedSearch. Or here:
Stroke
Stroke rehabilitation | The Chartered Society of Physiotherapy
Just about every bigger country does have national guidelines on Stroke rehabilitation.
The exercise picture search will prove more difficult due to copyright issues.
Good luck,
Fyzzio
