US Physical Therapy Compared to Australian Physiotherapy

Ok, so I have an interview at St. Augustine in a week. I have to only look at schools in the usa, because, despite several sources i've come in contact with saying Aussie Physiotherapy is the best practice and education in the world, the CAPTE strangely doesn't accredit it. I remember watching a video about US schools and remembering how undergraduate college was. People mainly went to school for fraternity parties if you were a guy and sorrority if you were a girl. I am a guy and was definitely not interested in that bullshit, and think sorrority girs are ditsy and stupid.

I was actually watching a St. Augustine video just for the fun of it, and it made me cringe. The lame, hip hop parody-type of video made tied in a little bit with physical therapy to make it seem smart almost made me throw up. Keep in mind, I'm most definitely not anti-fun or anti anything. I just want to know what the Australian students think when they hear or see this type of thing...? I'm not saying im against group work, etc. But obvious, hip hop parodying for no good intellectual or learning reasons, making Americans look even more stupid really bothers me. tuition at St. Augustine is $90,000 , and I dont want to be fucked over paying so much and being forced into this half-assed, narrow minded, intellectually inferior group of students who just get that doctorate really quick and think it's over and know everything. Please tell me, someone, that the USA is the only place that does this. I am frustrated to come to find out that my country offers a doctorate in physio, and yet it is much more inferior than the australian MSc. I will reiterate that having a good time is not a bad thing. It's these mandatory " projects" that dont really involve learning that get me. I'm paying my life away in tuition, and dammit, if this is what my free time is going to entail, I'll study at a different school. I want to go to school to learn and that's it. NObody thinks its fun to make those videos....it's just the kind of boring satire that annoys me about young students. My world doesn't revolve around music video making when I'm not nose-in-book studying. If I've got free time I wanna workout, go travel, go to bars, smoke a j...etc! Can anyone provide any information on why the hell school is like this here, and how it is most definitely better in other parts of the world, particularly australia....I'm providing a link to said parody videos. It isn't the one i originally alluded to, but it is similar. It seems like an unfun waste of quality time. School should be for learning..and free time should be getting toasted and banging your girlfriend =) thank you
