Buteygo Breathing

Hi I'm considering training to become a Buteygo breathing practitioner, but there appears to be very conflicting views of it as a treatment from those who are advocating it's benefits compared with the actual hard research. Has anyone any thoughts on it as a treatment or experienced successful outcomes from it's use?

Have a look at Buteyko Institute of Breathing and Health - Asthma, Breathing, Sleep Apnoea for a collection of research.
It seems a method we should really be looking into.
