Many of us have access to vieo clips now of our own operations, our clients operations, our clinics via our mobile phones etc. I would like to begin a video section on the forum and would like to put a sample knee video on this post.
[.youtube]zTIN6Dbm0LI[/youtube] Do not leave any leading or trailing spaces on either side of the video reference.
Post you video on the Physio Forum today. First of all post it (or find it) with YouTube - Broadcast Yourself. to generate the videoID that is required. Then place this code between the "youtube" tags that you can generate from the navigation bar (top right) when posting a new thread.
If you find that you copy and paste a full youtube URL to the video, then remove the leading part of the URL so you are just left with the actual unique reference of the video entry e.g. from above the zTIN6Dbm0LI
If you find this video is not playing on your local PC then perhaps it is because you do not have the latest Adobe Flash Player installed. This is a piece of FREE software that most up-to-date computers have, but not all.
Here's the result from above
Can't see the embedded video above?
You probably just need to update your web browser with the latest version of Adobe Flash Player Download the flash player here:Adobe Flash Player

Wow... that video is fascinating. I'd love to see more, but I wonder if there is ever a privacy issue posting this sort of stuff on YouTube. I guess you'd have to be pretty confident that the patient's name isn't said or appears on the screen anywhere.
Privacy settings are set at the youtube user level. If they set it as private then we cannot link to it. So the onus is on the individual that uploads the video. Of course if that is a physio etc. then they should take care to ask the patients permission if this is ok. (And make a written note of when they asked and the resultant answer)
