Getting into Pro/Semi-Pro football (soccer)

Hi All,

I am a recently graduated Sports Therapist. I'm currently at the final stages of setting up my own clinic which will operate 2-3 days per week. This isn't what I was particularly looking to do so soon after graduation but due to the lack of paid vacancies available to ST's I have no other option.

My ultimate career aim (same as many) is to work within football. I spent a season working at semi-pro but there were issues at the club which meant I had to leave. I would really like to work part-time with a semi-pro team to build up experience and network but I seem to be struggling. I have written and e-mailed many clubs but not a single reply.

Is there anyone currently working in football that may be able to offer some advice as to how they got in?
