Laser on acupuncture points or reflexology points for sciatica?

Can you help me regarding sciatica , I heard that to have quick relief of pain for such pt , I can use Laser therapy on the area which represent low back at ear or hand (reflexology). How effective is this technique and has anybody practised this on pts? I don't have any researches which support this issue.

Hi Rainy,

I had just this thought today when using LLLT with our larger laser head. We do not have the point probe head, but will be researching this topic to determine whether this would be worth using over traditional accupressure techniques. I'll probably be studying this as a comparative treatment (accupressure, needle point estim, Low level laser, placebo). Just need enough patients to try this on.
