Wages in NZ

I'm in the process of applying for my NZ registration, aiming to head to NZ in 2008. I would like to know about the wages I would be expecting, I know this is a vague question. I hope to work privately on salery or commision, I will have 4 yrs experience in outpatients by then. I have been told it can be the equivilant of what i earn in th UK except in NZ $, and that i have more potential when getting commision.

last time i enquired the wages were around 35-40k NZ$. thats about 12-15k entry level in GB£s. info may be outdated as that was long ago. i am trying to get reg in NZ as well. i am willing to provide info about competancies and would also apreciate help with competancies in return.

I emailed the NZ Physio Society about wages recently and they sent me back some info on the salary scales. I'm not sure how it applies to private work rather than working for a DHB but the basic was 40k NZD, going up 3k NZD every year till after 5 yrs when there is a pay gateway as such. I think with four years experience you might expect to get around 46-50k NZD approx.
