Exciting Patient Research Bulletin

Recruiting patients can be difficult for research studies, especially if it is a population of patinets that are continually being asked to participate in research studies for example, cystic fibrosis patients; where research is imperitive to help understand and improve treatment for the disease.

We are trying to develop a newsletter/bulletin for patients which is exciting and interesting, to explain the importance of research and the results of recent research.

I was wondering has anyone done anything similar to this before? Or does anyone have any suggestions on tactics/strategies with regards to recruiting patients which had gained a continually positive response?
