Looking for summer research

Hi all,
I am an undergrad student in the US and am interested in participating in a research project in physiotherapy next summer. Although there are universities within the US that I could potentially take part in, I'm interested in and value how other parts of the world view health and how physiotherapy is used in those countries. For this reason, I aim to take part in a research project abroad. Since I know very little about foreign universities or research centers, I am having great difficulty making any progress. Would anyone be able to aid me? Are there such programs or opportunities available to foreign students? Could you give me a bit of direction? I can pay my way.
