Lower back pain
Hi,
I wanted to get a general idea about which treatment method Physio's around the globe are using and if there is a preferred one for someone and why.
And also I am treating a patient with stenosis in the L5 S1 region of the vertebrae and she complains of pain in the little toe (pinky?!) of the involved lower limb. Just cant grasp my head around it, any help would be appreciated.

Re: Lower back pain
I use the classification system which you ask the patient to flex trunk then extend it the side binding (left&right) while doing this you should ask the patient in which move my there pain localize ?? Then give patient exercise depending on the movement the we're comfortable with .

Re: Lower back pain
In this event a combination of physical therapy, pain medication, and the application of heat and ice will be effective. If not, surgical treatment becomes an option.
