Work experience

Hi,

I am in my last year of study in NZ and would be keen to register in UK as soon as possible. Is it possible to start the process without "paid" work experience? My last year is made of placements in different physio settings (acute, rehab, community) but I am not sure it is enough to register.
So, my question is: do you need work experience to register in UK? if yes, are student placements enough to cover this?

i want to move in uk and aply as a physiotherapist at hcpc, but I want to know if 2 years of volunteer work is the same like experience work.
I must to know exactly before aply, because I can loose 440 £
please help, if anybody knows
