Upper and lower left pain
Upper left and lower left pain
Hi I have upper left pain which is between my shoulder and spine I get pain and cold sensation that travel down my arm to just above my elbow I also get pain in my lower left lower back near my buttocks and but cheek that goes into my hip. I have been to numerous chiro and pt had all MRI done i was told it was from tight muscles from poor posture and imbalance in muscle. Can having these issues affect one side of body I constantly use ice which helps but I often over use it and press very hard in where the pain is can I also be aggravating it more. I'm doing exercises to strengthen my upper and lower back. I do feel when I get stressed my muscles tighten and I feel worse.
Re: Upper and lower left pain
Hi, here are some tips for you-
Avoid lifting heavy objects.
Main cause of your problem is stress. Learn to manage stress.
Keep your back and stomach muscles strong,
use good posture.
Is the pain still grows, i would suggest you to visit a good Orthopedic Doctor .
Take care :)
Re: Upper and lower left pain
Hi there,
I would suggest that if it did start after your gallbladder surgery and if it is related to stress perhaps addressing these issues may be a start. Your muscular system does have a connection to your emotional system i.e when some one yells you autmatically hunch and tighten up. So relaxation or reducing the stressors.
Address the pain occasionally post surgery your muscles have not had the chance to recover from the period of pain it was in before. Going to a health professional whether physio, chiro osteo whatever you fancy and getting your muscle tightness addressed is important as well as having stretches and exercise given to lengthen your muscles. Strengthening is also good but you need your muscles to be nice and normal length rather than tight to gain the benefits.
As mentioned by toddchaney posture is important. so adopting a more upright posture will help your muscles return to pre operation state. i.e. look in the mirror and try get an S shape curve rather than a slump. http://alteringperception.files.word...ure-charts.gif
