Return to Uni?!!
Anybody got any thoughts on Physiotherapists returning to university to carry out a sports and medicine degree?Does any one think this would be beneficial to a physiotherapist in terms of the job opportunities following graduation?
Any input would be greatly appreciated!
Thanks!

Re: Return to Uni?!!
Well i am also interested in this course,
Have been working as a physiotherapist since qualifying?
I emailed the course leader regarding previous experience of a sporting nature and she stated it was not a requirement and that most people attending the course actually got their contacts and jobs through networking whilst actually on the course.
Hope this helps

Re: Return to Uni?!!
Getting involved into the post graduation level courses definitely adds to your skills and increases your opportunities to get a better job. Sports medicine is a good field not only in terms of getting better knowledge database but also improving your differential diagnosis enhancing your clinical skills both in terms of assessment, diagnosis and making a better management plan while assessing the cases of your patients. So all that place your in a better position of being a good clinician physiotherapist opening the job markete and opportunities for you to practice as a physiotherapist. Good choice, keep it up.
