visa screen

i m a pt in delhi. i am aspiring for MI state. BUT i m confused to a great extent as to how can i go there on H1. i'll be completing my BPT in 2007 so i cant apply for vs to CGFNS. also MI doesnt accept fccpt.
i know that i can get my credits done by ICD give the npte n apply for fccpt type II, but gettin a visit visa is difficult n expensive route for me.

1)i am wondering if i can get my credits done with ICD and then apply for FCCPT type I to get VS ?????????

2)BUT again i've heard tat we indians lack in gen credits and cant clear fccpt type I (EVEN IF I ASK THEM FOR NY STATE)??????????????

i can have a sponser in MI, tats y i m eager to visit it only once on H1 (With ATT in my hand here in india only).
can i........??????????

Are you sure Michigan does not accept FCCPT..bcz my friends have done Michigan evaluation through FCCPT..& also done with their NPTE..& Indian Pts dont lack general edu credits in Michigan,New York...So i dnt think you will have any problem in applying to Michigan..& going to US for NPTE is possible only on visiting visa as FSBPT has closed the centers in Guam and Canada..If you hav a sponsor..may be they cud sponsor for your visiting...

ICD I think is not issuing Visa screen certificate to passouts after 2002...If you are trying for other states then you can do the General education course in India through hcmii...for details visit www.hcmii.com or [url]www.hcmieducation.com..
Their candidates are getting their general education credits cleared & that too for states other than MI & NY...

Hi, here is my case detail,
Actually the NY board has evaluated my credentials and accepted the same allowed me to contact FSBPT to take up the NPTE from May 2011 onwards. Currently working in Oman.
My husband, a Pharmacist is going to US on H1B visa next week.I am planning to go on H4 visa and give NPTE in next year later upon passing change to H1b to start working.Right now I am in the process of getting done my Visa Screen Certificate.Now my doubts are,
1)should I get a visa screen certificate for Greencard job or for H1B job?
2)can I go to US on H4 and later convert to H1b?Is it possible? or will it affect my greencard job process later?
I absolutely have no idea on how to go about in these entiire process.I want some sincere advise.Please guide me. Thank you in advance.
