Professional resume checking/writing? Where to start?

Hi,
I'm an Australian Physiotherapist looking at creating a professional resume for finding work next year. I am finishing my newgrad year in a hospital; and in a competitive and overpopulated market, getting my portfolio professionally checked/created is a necessity. However, after an online search, I'm lost in a swarm of companies that claim to do this, its very hard to tell who's reputable and who's just a hack/scam artist.

Has anyone here got their resume professionally done, and can you recommend any good companies or places to start? I realise that there may not be many Aussies on this site, but if anyone could point me in the right direction, that would be fantastic
