Re: Help Me Asap!!!!
Hi
Hard to help.
1. Why don't you start by telling us why you didn't get into the courses?
2. A lot of people do Exercise and Sports Science and then do Post Grad Physio Masters
3. Have you got any previous qualifications?

Re: Help Me Asap!!!!
Hi Alophysio,
I have A-level, doing right now the science foundation degree ( Biology: distinction and Chemistry: credit). I am not from London so I will do very soon my IELTS test plus IŽll start my volunteer work very soon. I am a experienced carer and I have personal experience in physiotherapy, I do not understand why I didnŽt get into the course, what else do I need?
I have to make an extra choice and it is very difficult because physiotherapy is the only course I want to go into, if any other course should be very related and possible to transfer to PT.

Re: Help Me Asap!!!!
Hi
I don't know what IELTS is.
Exercise and Sports Science is the degree that a lot of people do.
Where are you from if you aren't from London?

Re: Help Me Asap!!!!
don't worry, I got rejected from 6 unis when I first applied for physio- loads of people experience this! I did a sport science degree, got lots of work experience and applied again as a mature student on the MSc course. I got into that course and graduate this year:)
The shear volume of people that apply for physio is probably the reason you got rejected. Even with 3 excellent A-levels and work experience people still get rejected, so don't blame yourself! What grades did you get at A-level? Why are you doing a foundation science degree? If you can, I would do a sport science or sport rehabilitation degree. This looks good on your application that you are committed to doing physio and are doing the neccessary degree's to get there (eventually!). You could also do some courses like sports massage etc...
Otherwise, you could always re-sit your A-levels if they are not brilliant. The other alternative is to try and get a job as a physio assistant or health care assistant for 6 months or so, this also looks good on applications.
