Do we have to go on a taping course to be able to use in practice?

Hi, just a quick question, I am a chartered physiotherapist and own a MSK physiotherapy business.
I was just wondering, do we have to go on specific taping courses for kinesiology taping etc before we can use the skills in our practice? I already have some experience from placements and other areas on the basic principles and skills.

I would appreciate anyone's input.

Hi

Personally i would not perform a manual treatment i had not had some formal training in. However, You can perform pretty much any treatment you like as long as you can prove it is within your scope of practice. Especially taping such as kinesio you can learn from a book without spending £200 on a course.
