Thank you. That seems like a very small percentage for your population...Has everyone got access via hospitals etc? Or is it only people who can pay that get Rx?
Thanks again!
Re: Indian Physiotherapists
there are about 20000 registered physio's in India..
most of them work in private hospitals..
Also there r some govt rehab institutes which cater to the needs of poor & needy..but the no of govt Physio OPD's in india is far less than what is required..
I work in National Institute of Rehabilitation Training & Reserch which is one of the 5 National Institutes in india. These institutes have Composite regional centres (CRC's) and out reach centers in some District or Provincial Headquarters. These centers have a PhysicalTherapy,Occupational Therapy, orthopedics & Neuro departments
Re: Indian Physiotherapists
There are no official China physios right there, since there are doctors/ exercise physiologists/ nurses/ acupuncturists/ masseurs who claim themselves physios. There is no regulatory board there, there would not be any definitions for a physio.
There are certain number of foreign-trained physios for expatriates but general public trusts more on their traditional Chinese medicine and maniplulations.
