unilateral snags vs central snags
Hi, I just wanted to ask, what is the indication for choosing a unilateral snag instead of a central snag? Also what is the mechanism of a unilateral snag? Doesn't this pressure block the rotation towards one side?I've seen it work on patients but the mechanism escapes me.
Re: unilateral snags vs central snags
The indication for unilateral snags would be, of course, unilateral symptoms. It also depends upon your assessment (PPIVM and PAIVM) also. The pressure given through your thumb/finger should be just enough to gilde the apophyseal joint and not to block the movement.
