Re: job in australia
Hi Sarah
Physio Assistant jobs are very limited in Australia, But is possilble to get a job.
I suppose you can start by deciding where in Australia you would like to base yourself. Get the names of the hospitals in the area and write to the Physiotherapy managers outlining the type of experience you have had, and how long you intend to stay in Australia in the one job. Most physitherapy assistants are trained in by specific course but you can be employed with out doing this course.
Good Luck with it. I'm sure you will love Australia. Where are you from.

Re: job in australia
Dear Jencat!
I´m very happy about your answer, thank you very much! So we are two girls from Austria and we want to go to Sydney. We will get our degree in September, so we hope that this would be enough to get a job as a Physiotherapy assistant. So we want to stay for one year. Our problem is, that we don´t know, if we will get a visa for this time. I have heard that it would be very difficult to get one for so a long time. Do you know anything about this??
Nice Greetings

Re: job in australia
Hi Sarah
I am not sure about work visa's. It does seem to be a long time. I dont think Australia have an agreement with Austria for work visas as they do with the commonwealth countries such as the UK.
You may have to contact the Australian Embassy in Austria. They should be able to give you some information.
Good luck with it.
