Recommended Reading
Hi there,
I have just recently started working as a physio and I am aware at some point I will have a respiratory rotation, my placement at university was very limited unfortunately and I feel as if I have suffered as a result.
I was wondering if anyone had any recommendations of books to buy to help prepare and be able to point me in the direction of assessments.
Any help or advice would be much appreciated.

Re: Recommended Reading
Hi,
have you checked your recommened reading list in the curriculum? It should have these books in there. Both highly recommended:
Alexandra Hough; Nelson Thornes, 2001 - 550 pages: Physiotherapy in Respiratory Care: An Evidence-based Approach to Respiratory and Cardiac Management
Jennifer A. Pryor, Ammani S Prasad; Elsevier Health Sciences, 6/03/2008 - 640 pages: Physiotherapy for Respiratory and Cardiac Problems: Adults and Paediatrics
Good luck, Fyzzio

Re: Recommended Reading
Well, I would recommend adding another book to the above list.
Principles and practice of cardiopulmonary physical therapy. By Donna frownfelter.
Its really helpful
