Hi there,
I have just recently started working as a physio and I am aware at some point I will have a neurology rotation. I have only had experience as a student working on the stroke ward so feel as if I know little about everything else
I was wondering if anyone had any recommendations of books to buy to help prepare and be able to point me in the direction of assessments
Any help or advice would be much appreciated.

Re: Recommended Reading
Hi,
check for: Susan Edwards, Lisa Harvey, Louise Ada, Susan Herdman, Janet Carr/ Roberta Shepherd; there is so many different ones depending on the area within Neurology. You could also look up normal movement.
Your clinic will provide you with an assessment format and orientate you to the outcome measures they would like you to use.
No worries - nobody will expect you to be an expert in the field. Do you reading as you go along.

Re: Recommended Reading
What books or authors do you recommend for STROKE therapy (not so much about assessment)?
