NHS-funded places on physiotherapy courses

Hello all

I was wondering how easy/difficult it is to secure an NHS-funded place on a course in the UK? I am interested in it as a career-change and have extensively studied hapkido before which involves a lot of joint manipulation and I think it could be interesting. I also like the idea of helping people and working with patients one-on-one. I imagine having some kind of direct experience would help too to be admitted (?) or might my justifications outlined above be sufficient? Thanks for any help you can give, this would be a huge life-change for me so would be grateful. Cheers.
