Post Scoliosis Surgery

Hi Folks, some help is urgently required. I have a school-age female client with ID who has recently (April 2014) undergone spinal rod insertion(s) for scoliosis. I have very little hx other than WOM and file photos of her pre-op. Surgery has markedly improved her curve and post op care all went well. There are a couple of issues after arising since I have linked with her; Balance, mobility and BOS have all deteriorated- but these are secondary to her medical dx. The query I have is to do her curve; it seems like the curve is now continuing to progress in her upper Tsp. She has gone back to her ortho team but the report that I got was they were quite dismissive of the possible issues with her curve. I need to have this girl re-reviewed asap but I need to get some info re complications post this type of surgery. Could anyone please shed some light on this issue? Thank you.
