PTA Bridge to DPT

In the US the Physical Therapy degree recently moved from a Masters Degree requirement to a Doctoral Degree requirement. Has anyone heard of any bridging programs or plans for future programs that would allow PTAs to become DPT without having to attend school for 8 more years?

Check out the University of Findlay, in Ohio. A program currently exists for transitioning from PTA to MPT, but is expected to change to PTA to DPT in the near future.
