Hi. I'm new to this site after having no response to an e-mail to the OCPPP to see if they had a forum!
I am looking for feedback on how interested physios would be to take on a physio practice that would provide full employment for a physio and a non-physio partner. It's based in a picturesque seaside area.
Would appreciate replies.
I assume you are talking about the UK? How about a little more info e.g. east coast, west coast etc. My reservation would be what good will is left behind if someone who has built a practice with their reputation leaves. Would you be willing to share the load with a buyer for a period of time to gradually hand over the business? This approach might well offer you the best way of achieving a sale. Otherwise it is very hard to actually sell a one person business when the one person leaves.
A solid GP referral base that can be substantiated might also help. I am sure there might well be a few other comments from the forum members. Best of Luck.

Just trying to work ou the best way to do it. The practice is on the North West Wales coast with no other private physiotherapy services within 35 miles. Osteopath 25 miles away, chiropractor 25 miles away in the opposite direction. I feel that anyone taking over the practice would be welcome rather than the practice closing when I leave! My husband currently runs a shop on the ground floor selling back and neck products and acting as reception, waiting room etc.
