Side effects of MIE medical research H-Wave machine

Hi,

I was just wondering if anyone had any experience of side effects when using the H-Wave electrotherapy unit (produced by MIE Medical Research, UK)? I have had two occasions where patients have had a very strong negative reaction to using the unit? Both are healthy individuals without any cardiac issues or history of seizures.

Within a couple of minutes of turning the machine on both patients felt sick, became light headed, clammy and they then fainted. I have searched everywhere for adverse effects to this machine but can't seem to find any information anywhere.

Other people treated it have not had any adverse reactions.

Any suggestions/answers as to why this happened would be gratefully received.

While being treated with the machine for the first time I felt dull heart sensation which I didn’t think anything of - why would you. My osteo then said after “it uses the same waves of those used in the heart” or something like that!! I then went home and l over 24 hours had this annoying uncomfy dull chest pain over the heart area. I am now in the emergency department local hospital had my ecg and now a blood test for possible heart damage!! It’s not been a good experience for me and I think this is all a direct result of the machine! AVOID. PLEASE let me know if you know what’s going on I’m so worried.
