H - Wave electrotherapy

Hi,

I was just wondering if anyone had any experience of side effects when using the H-Wave electrotherapy unit (produced by MIE Medical Research, UK)? I have had two occasions where patients have had a very strong negative reaction to using the unit. Both are healthy individuals without any cardiac issues or history of seizures.

Within a couple of minutes of turning the machine on both patients felt sick, became light headed, clammy and they then fainted. I have searched everywhere for adverse effects to this machine but can't seem to find any information anywhere.

Other people treated with it have not had any adverse reactions.

Any suggestions/answers as to why this happened would be gratefully received.
