Disc bulge L5/S1 L4/5

Hello everyone. I've been suffering from low back pain and in particular what I think is sciatica. Its been 6 weeks and the pain has eased however I'm still getting pins and needles in foot and pain through the buttocks.

A CT scan report concluded:
Posterior osteophytes at L5/S1, with a left paracentral disc bulge contacts the thecal sac and extends to the left exit foramen which is narrowed.
At L4/5, a broad-based posterior disc bulge contacts the thecal sac.

I have been to one physio prior to the scan and he prescribed pain killers and rest. I will most likely go to another this week,
I would really appreciate any advice or information on what to do.

I suffer from lower back pain as well, and always have, but mine comes from my scoliosis. To help ease the pain I use a cold pack at the end of my day everyday. My favourite is this one: Back Ice Pack Information. I recommend it to everyone. I'd also recommend focusing on your posture. It may help.
