Pay Rates for Locum work?? (Melbourne)

Hi Everyone,

I am looking for a new Physio role after time off for research. We moved to Melbourne from the USA, so I'm not familiar with the field here (I did manage to get my Aussie license, though!)

We could use $$$ for house repairs. Is it worth it to do a locum stint before I find a permanent job? What are the pay rates? I have a variety of experience, but mostly private practice. (8 years)

Also, do they pay extra for housing, like they do in the USA?

Thanks for your help. I'v been searching everywhere for the answer (short of calling the recruiters, but I want to be prepared before I call them!)
