A ortho consultant has said you can not compare an xray of the wrist where the center of focus is on the carpals to an xray of the wrist where the center of focus is more on the forearm, even though you can see the same image on both. Is this correct? He said you can compare the slight oblique wrist xray to a ap slice on a CT scan though? Any thoughts?
