Physio Vacancy - Southwark RFC

Southwark Rugby is a community rugby club based in Elephant & Castle SE London (Zone 1). We regularly run 3 men's teams and aim to promote rugby in an area that has previously lacked any kind of rugby awareness.


Our continued growth has resulted in the need for us to develop a medical support team to provide assistance at training and home matches as well as providing player rehabilitation.


Duties to include:


1. Providing physiotherapy services to all players.
2. Promoting & protecting the health and well-being of all players.
3. Monitoring & assessing all players for their fitness and injury status to train or play.
4. To assess, diagnose, treat and rehabilitate all injuries and illnesses, analysing and designing the safest and quickest strategy to ensure a full return to training.
5. Responsibility for pitch-side assessment and treatment of players during training and matches.


Hours:


The team trains on Tuesday & Thursday evenings between 19.00 - 20.30. You would be required to attend Tuesday training every week and all home matches.
