Not sure if this is the right place, but has anyone had back issues because of a negligent workplace?

Has anyone has a situation like this? Someone asked me if I took them to court and I didn't.. Should I have? It's been a few months. I thought the back issues would go away but they haven't, even after extensive physio.

What are your thoughts?
