Wrist injury/pain

Hi Physio's,

I have experienced a lot of wrist problems over the years from gymnastics and cheerleading but have managed them well with wrist guards.
Over the passed 1-2 years they have gotten progressively worse. The majority of the pain is located in the pinky (ulna ) side of the wrist. The pain tends to come and go where some weeks it will be really really bad and other weeks it will be fine. It also occurs in both wrists where one wrist may be bad one week and the other completely fine then some other weeks the other wrist will be the problem. Although haven't been to a physio, i have done a fair bit of research to find it could be related to a chronic tfcc injury.
Leading up to competition in a month the pain has gotten worse due to heaps of stunting and has been much much worse then usual. The pain is fine with my wrist guards but since i can't wear them to stunt i find the pain worsens after stunting. Generally i can deal with it whilst stunting but have excessive pain after training and the following day.
I was wondering what some pain management options are leading up to my competition in about 2 weeks as I'm still determined to compete.
Also i was wondering whether it is common or uncommon to be prescribed cortisone.
