This is a fantastic piece of equipment that allows enormous rehabilitation and testing options. It can offer in excess of 20 isolated joint movement patterns, and testing can be performed in Isometric, Isokinetic (concentrically and eccentrically), Isotonic and passive movement modes. Whether you want to test knees, quadriceps/hamstring ratios, shoulders, ankles or more, this is the ideal solution.
Test and exercise speeds range from 1 to 500 degrees/second and are fully selectable to provide you with the information and measurements you require. Applying the results allows you to determine baseline measures, set goals, and track change throughout the patients rehab, or simply monitor change over time. Integrate the data with functional performance assessments to facilitate the most comprehensive and analysed return to play possible.
Protocol options allow setting of standard or individualised protocols within each mode.
- ISOMETRIC testing allows safe application of force where through-range movement is a concern. Adjustable options within this mode will include joint angles, hold-times, rest periods, repetitions, and sets.
- ISOKINETIC Testing is ideal to determine maximum dynamic capability throughout the range-of-motion.The CYBEX NORM isokinetic mode offers both concentric and eccentric resistance testing, and curve results make it easy to determine areas of pain or weakness, and to determine strength, endurance and power capacity.
Multiple fully researched and validated protocols are available to apply to each joint you want to test, and the Cybex is fully programmable for individual rehab and testing as required. All the data is recorded to each patients file and is accessible whenever needed, with performance graphs that can be overlaid to assess change over time if required.The auction lot will include

The Cybex Norm has been fully serviced annually throughout its lifetime and is in full working order, and is being used on a weekly basis currently. A software upgrade is recommended during 2018 and is readily available via the Cybex UK agents. Further details can be provided on request. All straps and seat upholstery have been either replaced or refurbished in the past 2 years to ensure it is in perfect condition. Recent service documents are available and will be provided on completion of purchase.
