Where to look for mecanotherapy?

Hello,
I'd like to apologize in advance if I do english mistakes.
I'm currently working on a project on mecanotherapy, it's history throughout the profession of Physiotherapist, it's evolution, from Antiquities to nowadays.
Do you have any infos on which book or source (not online, i've searched databases) i could find infos?
i've already looked for WW1 and XX th century (Salter and CPM etc) but i could use a hand on every periode, even WWI.
