which hospitals in the uk are the best to go to for burns/plastics, cardiothoracic/respiratory, amputees, adult neuro? I am trying to find a place for my elective placement. If anyone has any ideas or has been on placement in these areas please let me know. Thanks
Hi Hope this isnt too late but i've not long qualified and had my elective at the CardioThoracic Centre in Liverpool.
Plenty of patients to see, and in addition the amount of in-service training is second-to-none...it was almost daily when i was there in April 2005!!
They will also help you see particular things you want to if you ask.
Maggie or Jay are the two people to speak to in the Respiratory Physio Department.
