What type of payment do you accept?
Hi there! My name is Pierre, I am new to this forum. I created an account as I am a starting my freelance career as physiotherapist and I am struggling to get paid in time as my clients say bank transfer is a hurdle. They ask me if I could accept cash or take the card, but I don't want to pay any extra fees or carry too much cash with me. Do you know any other free payment solution? I heard of apps called Banked or Cash on the App Store. Have you tried them before? Can I trust them, or do you know any other easy solutions? Thanks a lot
Re: What type of payment do you accept?
You're are always going to pay something to take a card payment. iZettle does have some restrictions in relation to medical sales but check them out. They don't really know what you sell unless you give it a really specific title in the product name. What's nice with them is you can also send online invoices via email which the client can then pay online. There are costs but they are reasonable and if you need to just up your fees slightly to include them.

Thanks Physiobob for your answer.
I'm just starting my physiotherapist career so want to avoid fees as much as I can. In the end, I did some more researches and gave a try to the Banked app. First feeling is that it's pretty practical, I send a link that I create with the app to my clients, and they can pay me by just clicking on it and go through a quick process. A bit like Paypal but free. Payment is real time as well, no need to wait for 3 days which is a massive plus as well. The only negative I would think of right now is that I always have to explain to my clients what's exactly this link is about as most of them have never seen this in the past, and this is quite painful, but clients seem to like it after they have gone through the process the first time. I will post an other update in a few weeks if I have more to share, positive or negative.
Thanks again, appreciate it.
