Evidence-based physiotherapy

Hi!
It´s me again. I am very interested in learning more about evidence-based physiotherapy. Unfortunately, in Spain not all the universities offer training in this area, so I have a lack of knowledge in evidence-based physiotherapy as wel as in research. Can anyone give me some advise on which books I could start reading in order to get a general idea of evidence-based physiotherapy? At the moment, I´m looking for something not too complex, that could provide me with the basic concepts in both areas.

Hi.

If your library has internet access, look up journals such as Spine, Manual Therapy, Journal of Orthopedic and Sports Physical Therapy, Australian Journal of Physiotherapy, Physical Therapy, etc.

Also, evidence-based medicine tends to refer to the work of Sackett so try a PubMed (Medline) search on him (?David is the first name - not sure).

Also there are a few previous topics on EBP on this forum, one has a lot of interaction. To view those specifically click on the "Tags" link on the navigation bar and then click on ebp.
