Fractured Ankle or sprain?

Hi all,

Got two footed slide tackled in football and rolled and fell on my ankle. Extreme agony when I did it however I can walk on it but hobbling. I have had extreme swelling and nerve pain and discomfort along back of ankle bone. However, went to minor injuries and they didn’t bother to x ray as it’s a bad sprain but I think i’ve done worse.

Should I go back and ask for an x ray?? (I’ve broken this ankle before by rolling it when I was younger)

Hi,

On a safer side get an xray just for a peace of mind.
However, if the swelling was not red/ black in colour it might just be a Grade 2/3 sprain.
