Hip Labrum Tear

Hi,

I am currently a physiotherapy student in my final year and we have been given the task of to test whether or not a Cricket Fast Bowler can return to play 5 months post hip labral repair. I would like to gather some input, as we were asked to design 2 tests to objectively predict if he can return in 4 weeks time and to design 3 end phase rehabilitation exercises to help him achieve his goal.

For testing, I have thought about resistance band sprints and targeted fast bowling. For the exercises, I thought about possibly using jump lunges, medicine ball slams and resistance band sprints.

Can anyone help point me in the right direction?
