Neutraceuticals Prescription by PHYSIOS

Hey Can Neutraceutical compounds like glucosamine/ chondroitin sulphate be prescribed by physios? Are there any regulatory body present to control its prescription?? Since its not a chemical drug compound, i thought that it can be prescribed as a nutritional supplement for the patients. hey note that it also has a lot of effect when used in combination with regular physiotherapy.. When this kind of combination is beneficial to patients, why not we incorporate these into our practice??
