Falls Dissertation - all help welcome :)
hello everyone.
im doing my dissertation on falls and i considered comparing group exercise to individual exercise programmes, but im racking my brains to do something a bit more unusual.
anyone got any ideas of topics in the general area of falls that'd id be really grateful if you could give me?
thanks :) xxx

I don't know if this is what you're asking, but have you looked at Tai Chi? There are a couple of studies out there talking about how it can decrease falls.
I have just finished an instructors course, which also gave me the latest study they did. I can give you the details if you are interested.:)

aerobic dance therapy or tha chi would be better for you...

or you could look at comparing outcome measures for falls groups, I know this is a topic that is frequently debated, which ones should you use etc....there are lots out there and no consensus on the best ones to use for falls training programmes, either induvidual or group:)
