Full Title:Primary total hip replacement surgery: a systematic review of outcomes and modelling of cost-effectiveness associated with different prostheses. Health Technol Assessment 1998; 2(20). The aim this review was to identify the literature on total hip replacement surgery that examined whether prostheses differ in their medium to longer term outcomes. This review also aimed to consider evidence on costs and outcomes, to assess the effectiveness of newer protheses to justify costs.
