ulnar styloid fracture...for the 2nd time!

I'd really appreciate some help. I broke my left (dominant) radius and ulna a year ago in a fall. Casted, brief PT, sent on my way. Three weeks ago was pulling on something with that hand and broke ulnar styloid again. It's quite separated from the rest of the bone-- about half of the end broke off. Saw an ortho who didn't answer any of my questions but put me in a cast. Wouldn't say for how long.

This wrist has been hurting since I broke it last year, and I'm worried that it didn't heal right. To complicate things, I had the little finger and underlying bone amputated a number of years ago b/c of recurrent tumor, and developed RSD. The fracture seems to be making the RSD much, much worse.

I'm kinda ready to claw it off. My pain doc doesn't know what to do, and the ortho won't even call me back . Can you tell me what is the normal recovery after an ulnar styloid fx? Will it mend itself for do I need surgery to get it to heal properly? Why would this make my RSD of 9 years so much worse?
